The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has announced plans for a state-of-the-art sports hub in Dwarka, Sector 19B. Spread over 50.4 acres, this ambitious project will feature cricket and football stadiums with a capacity of 30,000 spectators. Additionally, it will include facilities for tennis, badminton, swimming, and squash, making it a multi-sport destination.
Designed with inclusivity in mind, the complex will offer membership-based access alongside pay-and-play options. The initiative is a part of Delhi’s larger push to enhance sports infrastructure, with other projects like India’s longest 18-hole golf course in Dwarka Sector 24 set to open soon.
This sports hub is expected to elevate Delhi's standing in hosting national and international sporting events, while also encouraging local talent development. Construction is slated to begin by late 2024, under a public-private partnership.
Stay tuned as Delhi moves towards becoming a leading sports destination!
