Inaugurated in January 2023, this world-class facility boasts a seating capacity of 21,800, making it the largest fully seated hockey stadium globally. The government is actively investing in sports infrastructure across the nation. As of Q2 of the fiscal year 2024-25, a total of 252 sports infrastructure projects were underway, with an impressive investment of approximately ?21,045 crore (USD 2.5 billion).
